This is a very sad day indeed!
His 1969 song "All Things Must Pass" seems so ironic today.

Gearge has been my first guitar hero, he was part of the Beatles who were my first real musical influence ....

he will now play with the great big band in the sky, and he will sing directly to "My Sweet Lord" .....

and now i will dust off my old guitar has it gently weeps ....
